I am currently on the cusp of turning thirty, but I remember being sixteen and madly in love with my girlfriend at the time like it was yesterday. I remember it so well in fact, that when I see old pictures of us I feel like I am traveling back in time. As I stare at one of the three pictures I have on my computer, I feel like 1996 and 2008 are one- particularly when I stare into my own eyes. It’s almost spooky, like my younger self is looking at me now, analyzing me rather than me him.
Time flies so fast…
PS. Seriously, The Dark Knight was insanely good. I thought Heath Ledger was brilliant. I plan to see it again when it comes out.
Oh how could I forget? Suck it, Sam. Yeah you, Farrar.

I just turned 27 and its killing me. 30 is way too close and I feel old at shows (even Phantom Planet ones). I still like music like i did ten years ago, im still the same person, but im being told that im not supposed to be. its a weird feeling. and yes, heath ledger is awesome.

there’s a youtube video of a guy who’s been taking photos of himself every day for 7 years and then he put it in a video as a short film, and it’s scary how the changes are seen as the time past by.. it’s very sad too.
we get older every minute of every day. i kinda wish i was peter pan.

yeah, time does fly. when i think of the year 1996, i think, oh, well that’s not that lond ago. and here it is, 2008- more than a decade longer. where have i been? where have we all?
