I have come to the conclusion that everything Aerosmith have ever done is based on the last 2 minutes of the Beatles “Hey Jude.” Anybody agree? Give a listen and get back to me.

Now I’m tryin’ to forget you….
September 3rd, 2008 at 11:23 am
Isn’t every band of today stealing the last two minutes of any beatles song?
September 3rd, 2008 at 12:27 pm
No offense like
September 3rd, 2008 at 12:29 pm
No way. Cos the Beatles never did Revolution X. Remember that game? lol
September 3rd, 2008 at 4:41 pm
*shrugs* i dunno. maybe, seeing as aerosmith formed two years after hey jude was released… perhaps… it could be… wow, alex. i think you just stumbled upon something.
September 3rd, 2008 at 6:33 pm
Hmmm. Interesting observation. I would say so, what with the whole melodic singing coupled with the screaming. Just with bigger lips
September 3rd, 2008 at 6:38 pm
Wow. You know, you actually are right about this.
I love the Beatles. Is that weird? Have you ever seen Across the Universe? It’s the best movie ever. Go watch it. NOW. =D
September 3rd, 2008 at 8:13 pm
you have to admit that just about all rock music created after the Beatles has been in some way affected by them. Though, yeah, I see the connection to Jude. Maybe Paul needs to collect some royalties, I hear he’s broke.
September 3rd, 2008 at 8:50 pm
i can definitely hear a connection…i never would have thought of that myself though
September 3rd, 2008 at 8:53 pm
well.. i don’t know well but i agree with Tricia.
September 3rd, 2008 at 9:57 pm
nice to see you’re keeping yourself occupied while not on tour alex
September 3rd, 2008 at 10:47 pm
maybe Aerosmith are Beatles junkies and write all their songs after listening to them. its kinda hard not to get the end of “hey jude” stuck your head, seeing how its about 3 times longer than the rest of the song.

@robah
Good Point amigo - until you consider that ‘X’ is the roman numberal for ‘10′ - and what was the crazy song Lennon did with Yoko Ono… Revolution 9!
It’s all connected!!
September 4th, 2008 at 3:00 am

:0
September 4th, 2008 at 5:38 pm
I don’t know. I mean, most bands have been affected by the Beatles in some way.
September 5th, 2008 at 11:28 am
Your theories are so enlightening. =D
September 5th, 2008 at 4:01 pm
I want to go to the one in Phoneix, but i cant go and i’ve been to your last two in a row here in phoneix- i still love you guys though- p.s under tour dates, you put summer rocket instead of rocket summer…
September 5th, 2008 at 5:08 pm
i know this is off topic, but, dude, why are you guys always playing support on tour? when are you gonna headline? it’s hard for me to go out and see you when i have no interest in the other bands and know you’ll probably only play like 45 minutes tops
September 5th, 2008 at 11:18 pm
xD @ Jeff Conrad comment
jeff, you actually remind me of a beatle:)
September 6th, 2008 at 10:57 am
i thought the same thing when i was in 4th grade and then i realized it was less copying and more the fact that the beatles were way ahead of its time…either that or everybody wants a piece of them…their influence is in nearly all rock/pop music you hear today. and the sgt. peppers ‘reprise’ i think is the first (non)techno song ever and probably jumpstarted the whole idea of a dance remix.
September 6th, 2008 at 7:21 pm
I like ten men !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
September 7th, 2008 at 7:39 am
hmmm….interesting…im going to look into that!
September 8th, 2008 at 6:32 pm
My theory on Aerosmith is that they’re really, really bad.
September 9th, 2008 at 11:49 am
“… they take a sad song, and make it better-r-r.”okay no. aerosmith is like death to my ears. but that did seem to work out quite nicely, for a second.
oh dear.
September 9th, 2008 at 3:51 pm
ahah, yeah well what do you expect?
who doesnt copy the beatles nowadays

that’s so untrue. i used to love your stuff n now you’re just turning into a fag. like maroon 5. oh wait i forgot they’re milf.
aerosmith performed with led zeppelin before and who did you perform with? panic at the disco? boys that look like girls? get real man. you can’t barely touch the notes that steven tyler can sing on or off drugs. btw your music now is shit. all the stuff you compose lately is based on what happens in the locker room full of wrestling midgets.

I love Aerosmith and I don’t really care what you say. I love Aerosmith.
