I can’t help but wonder if this is because Alex is going to do that solo album. Which, honestly, I wouldn’t particularly mind. I’ve been following you guys for like, 6 years now. You’re one of my favorite bands, ever. And we’ve all had a great time together over the years, and yeah, it’s sad that you’re ending this now, especially since you guys had FINALLY made it to the “big time”. But I wish good luck to all of you. Phantom Planet was and will ever be my favorite Band! You gave me something wonderful and changed my life postively.

I heard the rumors and i wanted to believe that it wasnt true but it unfortunantly was…!!! i am sooooo sad, i only got to go to 2-3 of your concerts and i was looking forward to more…even tho yall are not going to be doing anymore live concerts i am and always will be a HUGE PHANTOM PLANET PHAN!!!!

hey so that really sucks that its over but it was great while it lasted. so i have a funny question to ask…im positive at a conor oberst show in october during the likes set alex was standing behind me and darren infront of me but i didnt say anything cuz, ya know, what do you say? anyway, heres the random question, alex, do you by any chance have a smaller size dog named lincon? cuz if you dont, theres a guy that looks just like you with a dog named lincon going to the dog park in fullerton….

i actually started crying when i saw this. im so upset because i couldnt go to your show in nyc cuz i was one month from being 16. urghhhhhh. but your music is great and just because you wont be making any more, doesnt mean i will stop listening to it. thank you for my favorite songs!!!

oh my god noooooooooooo! i heard that you guys would be doing a headlining tour in february, so i came on here to see if you posted any dates yet and found this posting instead!! i am truly sad right now. you guys are one of my FAVORITE bands of all time, and seriously one of the BEST bands out there now. you are unique and original. you know how to make a great album, not just how to make a great song. and you guys put on a sick show. oh man. wish i was able to make that last show

ummmmm i’m really sad
what am i gonna do without phantom planet?
like why can’t you guys just take a temporary break why does it have to be indefinite?
raise the dead is one of my favorite albums.
